When it comes to big air and pushing limits on the water, Kevin Bruckner stands among the best in show skiing. He is a longtime member of the Twin Cities River Rats, Midwest Ski Otters, and Little Crow ski teams. Over the years, Kevin has built a reputation as one of the sport’s most exciting show ski jumpers.
Whether performing in hometown shows or competing on the national stage, he brings intensity, style, and showmanship every time he hits the water. Just as importantly, amping up the crowd and getting fans on their feet drives him every time he hits the water.
Kevin’s dedication paid off in a huge way in 2024. At the Division 1 Show Ski Nationals, he earned the Skip Gilkerson Award as the tournament’s standout male performer. That same year, the National Show Ski Association named him Male Athlete of the Year for his impact across the sport. Together, these honors placed Kevin among a very small group of elite show skiers.
However, Kevin’s influence goes far beyond his own high-flying performances. As a respected show ski jump coach, he helps develop the next generation of athletes. He shares his knowledge, technique, and passion with younger skiers every chance he gets.
From dialing in ramp timing to building confidence on the water, he’s the kind of teammate every ski team hopes to have.
Today, watching skiers progress and land new tricks under his guidance has become one of his greatest sources of pride.
